JUNIOR TENNIS CAMPS

The annual
Wilkes-Barre Junior Tennis Camps are set for the Summer with three sessions being offered to local junior players. This camp
is the longest running and most successful camp of it's kind in the Wyoming Valley. Participants are welcome from
the very beginner through the intermediate player, ages 6 through high school. Special instruction camps can be customized
for area High School teams to prepare for the upcoming season.
WHERE: Kirby Park
Tennis Courts, Wilkes-Barre, PA
WHEN: Three Sessions:
#1 June
16 through June 27
#2 July 7 through July 18
#3 July
28 through August 8
PROGRAM: The camp runs daily Monday through
Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., Friday serves as a make up day in case of rain.
Included
are basic fundamentals as well as stroke analysis, strategy, drills, games and competition.
STAFF: Bill
Eydler, Head Tennis Coach at King's College is the Director.
Staff consists of college tennis players.
COSTS: The cost is $130.00 per camper per session ( players may attend more than
one session of instruction). Included is a complimentary camp
T-shirt and a new tennis racquet ( junior or
adult) and Kirby Park Tennis Backpack (deduct $15 if you chose no racquet).
Again for the 2008 Season ~ Any Junior player who attends two camp Sessions will receive
a FREE Kirby Park Junior Membership.
