Kirby USTA Men's Teams Prep for Do-or-die Weekend vs WestEnd

Both the Men's USTA teams will see action this Sunday. The Men's 4.5 team, sorely neeeding a victory to keep their playoff hopes alive, face WestEnd Racquet Club at 11:00 AM at the Kirby Courts. Team Captain, Bill Eydler, hopes that the squad will be more competitive than they were in the team's last two meetings with WestEnd.

At the 4.0 level, Kirby faces an undefeated WestEnd team at 2PM. Chris Barclay's team narrowly lost 3-2 to this team in their prior meeting.

So expect some extremely competitive tennis if you venture down to Kirby Park to watch!!                                    JMM
